Dynamis Advisory. Applied AI systems counsel.

Decisions on AI, written down so your team can act on them.

An advisory practice for owners and operators making decisions on AI: where to deploy it, where to hold the line, and the architecture and governance that keep what you ship working after the launch.

Dynamis Advisory is the counsel practice of Dynamis Group, providing decision-grade AI systems advisory for Australian SMEs and enterprises. Four pillars: Vision, Integration, Architecture and Governance — aligned to the AU AI Safety Standard, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. Senior-only delivery, no vendor referrals, written outputs operators will actually read.

Every engagement is led by one client-facing solution architect — your single point of contact. We coordinate Digital and Labs internally, so a decision on, say, a vision model never bounces between three vendors.

How we work

Discover, design, deploy, optimise.

  1. 01

    Discover

Stakeholder interviews, evidence review, decision questions framed in writing.

  2. 02

    Design

Architecture, governance and rollout written down at decision-grade — not slide theatre.

  3. 03

    Deploy

Implementation hand-off, or co-build with Dynamis Digital, with named checkpoints.

  4. 04

    Optimise

Post-deploy review, drift and cost monitoring, governance check-ins on a cadence.

Standard of work

“Written down, so your team can act on it.”

Advisory output is a document you can hand to a board, a regulator, or the next person in the chair — not a deck that dies on a shared drive.

  • Evidence-led

Interviews, logs, contracts, invoices — never assertions.

  • Written results

    Decision-grade memos, not presentation theatre.

  • Independent

We do not resell vendor licences or take referral fees.

  • Senior-only

The person who scoped the work does the work.

How we engage

One question, one review, or one ongoing seat.

Engagement length is orthogonal to which pillar the work lands in. Pick the shape that fits the question; the pillars decide what we look at.

Briefing

One week, fixed fee.

A concentrated diagnostic on a specific question: vendor decision, platform choice, post-incident review.

  • Stakeholder interviews
  • Evidence review
  • Written briefing
  • Executive walkthrough

Review

Most common

Three to six weeks.

A full review of systems, vendors, risk and roadmap. Output is a decision-grade document, not a slide deck.

  • Architecture mapping
  • Risk register
  • Prioritised remediation
  • Board-ready summary

Fractional

Ongoing, monthly.

A fixed monthly block of senior advisory time. Used by owners between hires or during transformation.

  • Standing forum
  • Async reviews
  • Vendor check-ins
  • Escalation line

Conversations we’re good at

“We need an AI policy before the board meets next month.”

“A vendor is pitching us an AI pilot. Is it worth it?”

“We built a bespoke platform, now we can’t hire for it.”

“Our systems grew organically and now nobody can map them.”

“We want to bring something back in-house. What’s it cost?”

“We had an incident. What should we actually change?”

Common questions

FAQs

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions. Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out to our support team.

What does Dynamis Advisory actually do?
Decision-grade counsel on AI systems for Australian SMEs and enterprises. Four pillars: Vision (computer-vision strategy), Integration (LLM and workflow automation), Architecture (data and model architecture) and Governance (risk, drift, cost). Output is a written document a board, a regulator and the next person in the chair can all hold — not a slide deck.
What is the AU AI Safety Standard, and do you align to it?
The Australian voluntary AI safety standard, published in 2024, sets ten guardrails for organisations developing or deploying AI. Dynamis Advisory governance work aligns to it, alongside ISO/IEC 42001 (the AI management-system standard), ISO/IEC 23894 (AI risk management) and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework where US-aligned partners need a common reference.
Can Advisory implement the work, or only design it?
Advisory writes the decisions. Implementation lives elsewhere in Dynamis Group: LLM and agentic plumbing through Dynamis Digital — Integrate; production computer-vision builds through Dynamis Labs. Every engagement is led by one client-facing solution architect, so a decision never bounces between three vendors.
How is Advisory different from a Big-4 consultancy?
Senior-only delivery: the person who scoped the work does the work. We do not resell vendor licences or take referral fees, so the answer is sometimes "do not do this". And we will write the architecture and governance down at a standard your operators will read — not a deck that dies on a shared drive.
How long is an Advisory engagement?
Three shapes. Briefing — one week, fixed fee, on a single decision question. Review — three to six weeks, full systems and risk pass with a board-ready summary. Fractional — ongoing monthly retainer for owners between hires or during transformation. Engagement length is orthogonal to which pillar the work lands in.
